Medications Return Programs offer a safe and convenient way to dispose of unused or expired health products at participating community pharmacies across Canada.
These programs aim to prevent improper disposal–such as throwing medications in the trash or flushing them down the drain–which can harm the environment and public health.
Accepted items include:
- All prescription medications
- Over-the-counter oral medications (e.g., tablets, capsules, liquids)
- Natural health products in oral forms (e.g., pills and liquids)
